This holiday apartment is just 440 yards away from the beach, and is in an ideal location for exploring the island.

These beautifully appointed ground floor holiday apartments (refs 29781 and 29782) offer extremely comfortable and well-presented accommodation, and are ideally situated, just a 5-minute walk from Shanklin’s lovely golden sandy beach, accessed via a cliff side lift. There is so much to do in this popular resort which flows around into Sandown, with seaside amusements, putting, crazy golf, a zoo, pier, leisure centre with indoor pool and many restaurants, cafés and bars along the waterfront. Discover numerous attractions for all ages on this lovely sunny island, with its many historical houses, beautiful gardens and scenic walks along the heritage coastline. Outdoor pursuits include scenic walking, riding, fishing, cycling, water sports and golf. The island can be explored from the open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points. Shop ½ mile, pub/restaurant 50 yards. These properties can be booked together with Beatrice Cottage (UK1237), ½ mile away, to accommodate up to 13 guests.

    This is an excellent apartment that I would definitely use again. It was roomy, clean, comfortable and handy for the beach and nearby shops. There were just a couple of minor points that I think would improve it, such as hooks behind the bedroom doors and bathroom door to hang dressing gowns, etc, and a full length mirror. Andy is a very amiable and welcoming host and I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

    Sea View is a very spacious, comfortable, 2 bedroom apartment in a great location for Shanklin beach and town. We arranged to pick up the key from Andy, who met us at the apartment and went though all the facilities. Andy is a very friendly easy going guy and was only a call away to deal with any problems ... not that we had any. The coastal path is under 100m away with steps leading down to the seafront. The beach lift is also within 120m from Sea View. Shanklins many cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and local shops are only a short walk away. There is off road parking for one car, but a car is not really necessary due to the location, the bus station and railway station is less then 1/2 mile away. Sea view is an ideal apartment for couples and families alike.

    Fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. Very clean and has everything you need. The owner took the time to greet us and was very welcoming. We will be back next summer. Fantastic. 11/10!

    A lovely clean and spacious apartment which was perfect for a week stay with our 2 year old! The apartment is right inbetween the beach and town making it perfect to reach everything on foot. Andy was extremely welcoming and friendly and told us about the local area and things to do. The weather was amazing and we spent lots of time on the beach which is beautiful and clean. But equally there was lots to do in shanklin to keep our little boy entertained; kids rides on the front, soft play, shops, cafes, etc. Would definitely go back.

    We had a brilliant family holiday in this fantastic apartment in a lovely location, literally just round the corner from the cliff lift. You could be on the beach in 5 minutes using the lift or 10 minutes or so if you walked down. It was a short walk into the old village which had some nice places to eat. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks for a lovely holiday, we'll be back.
