Happy New year! By far the best weekend break had in a long time, beds super comfy, gorg views of the stud farm. Even a Christmas tree in the living room which was a lovely little touch. There was 3 couples that stayed for the new year eve break. Karen was a great host, really friendly and helpful also recommended us some great pubs in Orford a short 5 mins drive away. Will definitely be back!! Thank you for having us. Samantha.

Lovely cosy cottage with a lovely kitchen to just hang out in. Very peaceful location with lots of horse fields surrounding, which our little boy loved. It is down lots of country roads but we expected this so not a problem. Could do with some signs directing you to the cottages from the beginning of the Farm as a bit trickey to find especially in the dark.

Paddock Cottage was very comfortable and warm. It was down very narrow lanes on a farm about 3 miles from Orford where there are very good pubs, nice walks, a keep and a quay. There is a village shop there but we didn't need to use it. The caretaker is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice walk to and along the river from the cottage. It is also in a sheltered position and has a nice outdoor table to enjoy your coffee at.

Our first visit to Suffolk and we were not disappointed. Great location, easy access to Orford and surrounding areas. Warm and clean cottage, very spacious and well equipped kitchen.

For me this is a perfect holiday location. It is very rural but only a few minutes by car or bike from the nearest village and 25 minutes from Aldeburgh. Beautiful location, fantastic wildlife and farm animals, stunning scenery. The cottage/farm hosts are so lovely and helpful too. Cottage is delightful and well equipped. We've been twice now and will certainly be returning in future. Thank you :)

enjoyed our break away - positive feedback very rural and we enjoyed the rural setting, however some folk who want a break would have found finding the property difficult if they did not use a good map - also it was some distance to travel to shops, and not so near the coast. We let some suggestions re equipment that would have been useful - i.e large frying pan, too small for creating a meal for 6 - dishwasher was not functioning well, but an engineer called on our final day, so that problem should now be sorted out. only having one toilet for six people not always easy - if possible a second toilet would have helped as there was only one bathroom - but overall we really had a good holiday and would consider returning again if we wanted a break in a rural setting.
