Very clean and comfortable. Quiet at this time of year and a safe neighbourhood for a vulnerable member of our party who is inclined to wander off!

A lovely holiday home, thoughtfully equipped and provisioned (yummy home-made mince pies and marmalade!) Warm and cosy for a Christmas break, complete with Christmas tree! Great location for Camber beach, Salts Farm Shop and Rye. Loved waking up to the alarm call of the seagulls, otherwise the location was very quiet. The cottage and location are suitable for children and a dog.

Oystercatchers was a delightful little seaside cottage and we were very comfortable here on a wet and windy November weekend. The owner was very welcoming providing us with the table ready for afternoon tea on arrival and a lovely selection of basic foods including home made marmalade. He also very kindly forwarded clothes that we had left behind in a drawer - thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Oystercatchers which is a lovely, cosy little cottage, perfectly located for the beach.

The little house itself was lovely but the area for two elderly ladies was very flat and boring and of course the weather did not help for except for the day of arrival and the day of departure it rained,

The cottage is in a perfect location, especially if you have a dog as we do and enjoy walks on the beach which are accessible by only a short 5 minute walk. The area is very quite and a great place to retreat to, Rye is only a short drive away and is very idyllic with plenty to see. The cottage was immaculate and to have the owner meet & greet us was very nice, along with some goodies which were well received and appreciated. The cottage is well laid out with everything easy to find, my only minor criticism would be it needs a larger sofa, the 2-seater was very small with wooden arms, other than that you only had the dining table chairs or 2 wicker chairs so in the evenings or on a rainy day when your stuck indoors it felt like you were sat upright side by side and couldn't lounge or relax, I think a larger sofa with softer arms would make a huge difference or place a TV in the bedroom so you could watch upstairs in a bit more comfort. Would I return though, yes I would.
