My wife and I stayed with our dog for the long weekend at this wonderful little cottage. The owner was incredibly welcoming and he even left us a delicious packet of biscuits on the side for our arrival. As far as location goes, you couldn't ask for better, secluded, quiet and beautiful scenery all around. With only a few minutes drive you can be on the north or south coasts which have so much to offer. Hoping to visit again soon.

Lovely little getaway that can only be described as quirky. All the necessities are there. More than anything our dogs were made welcome & I think the accommodation is more furnished with that in mind. The open stairs weren't a problem for my two Jack Russells .. it just meant they took their time ..which made a refreshing change :D A great location if you want a proper get away from it all ..tucked away at the side of the woods. The place was covered with autumnal leaf fall when we were there ....it was stunning. We also heard the whooing of an owl ..which is always magical. Would definitely book again next time we're down that way. Met the proprietor Mr Smith.... welcoming, friendly and unassuming. Would of liked to have met Mrs Smith .....hopefully next time.

Superb location but let down by the strange layout of the bedrooms. The single bed is literally under the stairs and you have to disturb the people in the main bedroom to access the only bathroom, not very good. The living accommodation is upstairs accessed by the staircase in bed 1. Upstairs is great but in my opinion the cottage is let down by the strange layout of the bedrooms.

Lovely cottage. Suits best a couple looking for a quiet cycling escape rather than a family
