Excellent cottage, well equipped. The enclosed rear garden was ideal. We all really enjoyed our short stay

Fabulous weekend at the cottage. Incredibly well equipped cottage. Really comfy beds with really good quality bedding and towels. Loads of space for dining and lovely garden. Only minor issues were that the sofas aren't terribly comfy and we couldn't get the dishwasher to work. But that wasn't significant enough to bother us. Overall would highly recommend. Some lovely pubs abd restaurants in the area too.

We have just come back from a long weekend at Owl's Cottage - what an amazing place! We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the past few years and this one I have to say has been by far the very best!! Everything we could have wanted or needed was there! One example being that I have a 2 and a half year old daughter who has just moved into a 'big' bed and I was a little concerned that we may have a few fall outs! But this had obviously been thought about and there was a bed guard in the cupboard. The only thing that would have been beneficial to us was a stair gate which could be fitted to the top of the stairs. But this is only a minor observation. On arrival we were treated to scones, jam and cream as well as bread, eggs, milk and many other thoughtful touches. My daughter loved the ducks and chickens at the bottom of the garden and the owner handed her two little chicken eggs for her breakfast! Overall an amazing stay away in a beautiful part of the country! We will definitely be back!

We had a great holiday in this lovely cottage with extended family. Nice space for the kids to play and overall the cottage was clean and comfortable, the homemade scones were a lovely touch on arrival too!

This is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. It had everything we needed for our week away. There were even unexpected extras like fresh homemade scones with jam and cream on arrival! And tea coffee sugar mill and eggs but to name a few! The cottage was made up beautifully and my children loved watching the animals and playing outside despite the rain! We would definitely return and definitely recommend. The only niggle we had was that the mattresses were a bit too hard so a bit uncomfortable but in the grand scheme of things it didn't really matter. Thank you for a lovely time.
