The owner,Mrs Scott, couldn't have made us feel more at home and was there to greet us when we arrived with everything laid out for tea and biscuits - very welcome after a seven hour journey. The cottage is well equipped with good sized bedrooms, all of which are en suite. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen has a good range of equipment and the oven, dishwasher etc are easy to use. The cottage is very clean, with bright, airy rooms. It is in an excellent location with plenty to do in any direction. We visited Edinburgh Zoo, Stirling Castle, the beach at Ayr, the Dino Park at Dumfries and New Lanark but we could easily have done more. We would definitely stay here again.

A spacious cottage in a beautiful location. The owners have thought of everything and it was great having three en suite rooms. We loved watching the sheep dog helping round up the sheep. A nice pub a couple of miles down the road. We liked Biggar and really enjoyed a day out in Peebles. Highly recommend.

The holiday was very relaxing and it was the perfect property for our group of family. Each bedroom was en-suite so it would be suitable for couples and families alike. The attention to detail was very good and it was equipped with everything you need for a great visit. It was cosy and warm all the time even though it was open plan and the living area was nice and spacious with plenty of room for us all to sit comfortably. The fire was a real treat and everything is provided for you ready for when you arrive along with the kettle on and biscuits waiting. The owners were very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed before leaving us to simply enjoy a lovely cottage with beautiful views.

This cottage would struggle to be better than it is. All comforts including an amazing power shower and wonderful wood burning stove. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the countryside is lovely but only 40 minutes from Edinburgh. We will be back!
