We stayed at Overbay at the end of August 2017 as a 3-generation family group of 6 ranging from 8 years old up to 67, & we all had a wonderful time at Overbay. The house is spacious, comfortable, well-stocked, & has that glorious view from the terrace over Swanage Bay - it is by far the best holiday let we have stayed in at Swanage. To give some highlights: there was plenty of comfortable seating; the beds were comfortable (although we could have done with an option of lighter duvets as we had warm weather); the kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery & crockery, plus the Welcome pack was a nice touch; the WiFi was strong & stable; the bathrooms & showers were all very nice & worked well; the play room in the garage was well-used; the roof terrace was a joy; the parking spaces a real boon that close to town; & the owners Mary & Bob were very helpful & live locally, so are available should there be a problem. Really, the only downside was the steep climb up from town, but that's the price you have to pay to get that wonderful view! My wife & I (the 67 year-old members of the group) generally needed a short rest on the way up, but provided we took it slowly it didn't prove to be a problem - we've already booked for next year in the adjoining property also owned by Mary & Bob, as Overbay was already booked up!

Well positioned with stunning views from the roof terrace. The short but steep hill helped improve our fitness(!), and was just about manageable for all our party (aged early 50s - mid 80s). The house was spacious and well equipped, including infromation on local attractions and games and activities for any wet days.
