The location of the cottage was brilliant. We saw otters in the loch in front of it as well as eagles. Easy walk to the village too and David and Christine made us very welcome. A lovely week.

The lodge was warm and cosy with everything you need from a holiday home. There was lots of information about things to do. The abundance of wildlife to be seen without even leaving the lodge was fantastic, and the view alone is simply stunning. A nice little welcome pack of the essentials was very useful.David and Christine are really great hosts, very helpful. The only downside was the bed and the seating in the lounge not as comfy as they could be, but to be fair there really is no substitute for your own bed.

The perfect base if you love landscapes and wildlife. The only downside we found was having to travel to get to shops or restaurants, but the lodge is very well set up making it easy to prepare meals yourself, so in the long run if you cook for yourself it actually saves the expense of eating out. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

One of the best - if not THE best holiday self-catering places I've ever stayed at. Owners were so friendly and helpful; superb location; really well-equipped and comfortable. We'll be back!
