Water sports are plentiful with a local water sports centre/cafe within 5 minutes’ walk. Launch facilities for motor/sailing boats are available locally. Lochearnhead, situated in an idyllic, picturesque holiday location, is an ideal centre for a variety of leisure pursuits including walking, fishing (Mar - Oct), 8 golf courses within 1/2 an hours’ drive, cycling on dedicated pathways, waterskiing and canoeing. This part of Scotland is a paradise for the walker with leisurely strolls in the surrounding foothills, or serious hill treks for the more energetic - guided walks can be arranged locally. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac within the village, the house has easy walking access to local restaurants/bars, shop, post office and childrens’ play area. There is easy travel to explore other local villages such as Killin with the spectacular Falls of Dochart. Follow the road past Killin along Loch Tay to Aberfeldy, enjoying the views of Ben Lawers, Perthshire’s highest mountain, part of the NT, and boasts many precious wild flowers. Perth, Oban, Stirling and Crieff are also easily accessible. Shop and pub 800 yards.
