These Grade ll listed, attractive, 16th century barn conversions have been completely renovated to a very good standard. They offer glorious views over the rolling Devon countryside, and are ideally situated on a 300-acre working farm, between Cullompton and Honiton, an excellent location for exporing the many attractions nearby, including the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, 18 miles, Killerton House (NT), Crealy Adventure Park and the Lace Museum at Honiton, 7 miles. Also worth a visit are Beer, Seaton, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Branscombe. There is walking on the Blackdown Hills, or Dartmoor (within easy driving distance), and of course, Exeter cathedral city with its shops and restaurants. Set between Dartmoor and Exmoor, the cottages are well-placed to visit the quaint villages - and no visit would be complete without a Devon cream tea. We took our 4 young daughters here for a week. The property was perfect for us. Very well equipped and easy to maintain. Amazing views and loved hearing the sheep in the morning. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely book again

Orchard View Barn was a lovely place to stay and very well equipped. The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful and even took the time to show us the harvesting of the thatching wheat.

Excellent accommodation in the Barn just for 3 nights, and would have enjoyed a longer stay.

We had a really lovely week in Orchard View Barn. My sister had the other barn which was equally stunning. As some have already said, the pictures don't do either barn justice. Our hosts were very welcoming and happy to include the children in the sheep feeding in the pretty orchard. We really couldn't fault the week, our accommodation, the location, or the hospitality which was just the perfect balance of available when wanted but allowing total independence. We would be happy to stay here again.

Orchard View is a lovely conversion carried out to the highest standard - the photo's on the website do not do it justice. It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Ideally situated to visit lots of local attractions. It deserves a Gold Award. Sue is very welcoming and helpful regarding advice on the local community shop and local pub - the Blacksmith's Arms etc. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Micheal as he was busy on the farm but we hope to meet him next time. Sue and Alan at the Blacksmith's Arms (mile down the road) are very friendly and offer excellent food - the locally sourced steak is a must. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it is an ideal place to relax and unwind. We highly recommend Orchard View and will certainly stay again - 10 out of 10.

Perfectly equipped cottage with large living room / kitchen. Very friendly host, provided helpful information about what to see in the area. Also gave a very interesting tour of the working farm on which the cottage is located. Exeter, Dartmoor, jurassic coast, Cheddar gorge all reachable with approx. 0.5-1 hr drive
