A brilliant week in a lovely peaceful tranquil location. I called it a little slice of paradise. The cottage doesn't look much from the outside, but it is very spacious, clean and well equipped inside. The bed and furniture are very comfortable and there is everything you need in the cottage for a most enjoyable stay. What I loved most was the blissful peace and quiet. I sat outside reading my book just enjoying hearing the birds sing. There are no other sounds other than the occasional bleating of the sheep, the odd quacks of the ducks and just occasionally a cockerel. It really was just peace, quiet and relaxation. At night it was so dark that you could see the stars as there isn't all of the light pollution you get most places. It really is a delightful cottage in a beautiful location. There are some of the finest National Trust properties nearby as well.
