This is a beautiful cottage in a great location. The owners are very helpful, and the cottage was not only well equipt with all the basics but had lovely touches of fresh flowers, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, tea towels, tea and coffee which we were not expecting. The living room is lovely, spacious and very comfortable, also lovely great sized bedrooms and really nice to have a toilet upstairs and down. Our negatives would be that in our opinion the master bedroom is in need of a new mattress, the water comes out the shower without any power so takes ages to get shampoo out of long hair and finally the kitchen for us was VERY impractical to work in as there is barely any work surface.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for the positive feedback for our lovely cottage. We take pride that everything is up to standard for our visitors. Re the negatives, we have now replaced the mattress with new. We are increasing the worktop space in the kitchen and our shower is standard fitment and we are sorry if the pressure was not powerful enough for you.

The cottage was in a peaceful location in a beautiful garden setting. We thought it was very well equiped and comfortable. It was ideal for getting out and about in north Cornwall although some of the roads are so narrow and pretty hairy if not used to driving on roads like this. Tintagel is a lovely historic village with a good selection of shops and eating places. We found the owner of the property very friendly and helpful.

A really enjoyable stay, clean and tidy and very comfortable. Brilliant location, just 15 minutes walk from Tintagel and a short walk to amazing coastal walks. Definately stop here again if in the area.

Very nice Cottage with well equipped kitchen and rooms, we didn´t miss a thing. All rooms were clean and lovely decorated. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had reliable wifi and some nice extras like additional towels. The property and gardens were beautiful and well looked after. Over all a great week, we´d love to return. Thank you!

Lovely cottage, very clean and spacious, in a quiet location, easy reach of Tintagel. The only downside was the privacy, the owners walking past our windows able to see in .

Dark and damp as cottage below garden level. Back bedroom smelled of mildew. All carpets needed shampooing and kitchen had no work surface, very dated. Stairgate not at top of stairs but on landing between bedrooms. We had to take our own travel gate for top of stairs. On the plus side the gardens were well maintained.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. We were disappointed to read your review on our lovely cottage. We have now replaced the stairgate at the top of the stairs and a further gate can be fitted at the bottom on request. This was provided at the time of your visit. We actually went out and bought this new gate the day after you arrived. I can assure guests that this cottage is neither dark nor damp and have previously had positive feedback from our other guests. The cottage is decorated and all carpets cleaned every year. Any spillages are cleaned as soon as is possible. The main bedroom has had a new carpet and rugs this year. Since this review, our cottage has had its annual inspection and has retained its 4 star grading. We don't want any guest to be disappointed with our cottage and hope to give that home from home feeling to all.
