We enjoyed a family weekend. Lots of cooking utensils and oven space for a meal for 16people. Spacious rooms , comfortable seating and a huge garden. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. We would definitely go there again

We had a great time at Orchard Barn. The heavy snow meant we spent more time in the property than we had originally intended, but that wasn't a problem. Whilst the main living/dining area is open plan, only a section of this has a high ceiling, so it seemed quite cosy. The kitchen was well equipped, which we appreciated as we ended up doing more cooking than eating out.

A very comfortable, well-equipped house with plenty of room both inside and outside the property. A lovely quiet location with good views from the garden.

A great location for the big family get together of 8 adults, 5 children, a toddler and a dog. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the garden was great for the children to play in, and to sit out in to enjoy the sunshine. The kitchen was very well equipped for preparing meals on a large scale. We enjoyed exploring the lovely local countryside, including visiting 2 castles & Tintern Abbey. Would consider a return visit at some point in the future.

Pro: Well equipped kitchen(two cookers and a gas hob) laundry room(two washing machines and two tumble dryers) Great outdoor area with masses of seating. Large dining table with more than enough chairs. Great feeling of space with amazing high ceilings. Cons: More fridge space needed for 14 people. Too much unsealed and delicate wood, everywhere. There was a distinct smell of gas in the kitchen but this didn't seem to worry the owner. The wet rooms never seemed to dry so wet feet all night long.

This is our 2nd visit to Orchard Barn. This time is was for a weekend rather than a week BUT we wanted to celebrate our good friend Peter's 70th birthday in a place with comfort, style, excellent amenities and fantastic location. How fantastic to sit on a choice of patios to drink champagne and then cook excellent meals in a fully equipped kitchen - thak goodness there were plenty of glasses to use
