This cottage is lovely and has everything you could need. It is really comfortable and warm. The welcome pack was a real treat and the fresh eggs great. The neighbours cat was an extra bonus. We enjoyed the Gladstone pottery museum and the Blue John mine. Leek has all the shops and amenities needed.

Loved our stay at the cottage. Lot's of extra touches which make it outstanding, like the throws to snuggle up with, candles, welcome food pack, basket of logs, lovely hot water. This cottage has a real high end feel to it. Can thoroughly recommend staying at Oldfield Barn - just wish we had longer, would love to return at some point, as it is in a great location and I'd like to explore more.

We absolutely loved the cottage and the owners had thought of everything that could be needed. It was situated in an area where there is so much to do it's hard to fit it all in. We had two young children with us and everything was perfect for them. I have no problem recommending Oldfield Barn to those who like to do activities every day but enjoy returning to a peaceful have full of wildlife. We loved watching the ducks and squirrels each day,

This property really did have everything we could possibly have needed and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The cottage has a decent amount of space and the rooms are comfortable and well-furnished. My son loved the opportunity to play football in the owners' field. We enjoyed the location, with time spent in the Peak District, as well as spending a few days at Alton Towers.

A beautiful cottage with everything we needed. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and provided a welcome pack of eggs, cereal, milk, butter, bread and biscuits. Watching the wildlife from the cottage window was a bonus!
