Oldfield is a lovely place to stay. We got a friendly welcome from the owners and they just let you get on with it, which suited us. It was a bit of a hike to the nearest pub but this was Ok for us and Warminster had everything you could need. The locals were friendly and the area itself is beautiful and so much to do and places to visit. My only regret (Totally my own fault) was not taking bikes as there is a cycle route at the entrance to the farm. We would go again for sure.

Beautiful setting looking over open fields, was lovely to see the dear in the mornings and evenings. Perfect place for some tranquility and relaxation time. Very comfortable beds and nice to have 3 bathrooms so there was never a queue! Great base to visit loads of places such as Salisbury, Bath, Longleat, Avebury and Bradford on Avon.

The cottage was ideal for our family, the children aged 6 and 16 months loved their daily visit to the ducks & chickens, also the horses. It had a downstairs bedroom and bathroom so ideal for my mum (80 yrs old with limited mobility) It was very clean and comfortable, some issues with the central heating pipes being very noisy, but it didn't spoil anything. The family were very attentive to our needs but also unintrusive. We had gone mainly to visit Longleat Safari Park which was 15 mins drive so again ideal. Also within 20-30 mins of Stonehenge, Salisbury and Lacock (beautiful village and abbey). Overall a lovely family holiday
