A beautiful gem of a cottage in the most perfect spot hidden just behind Bleak House. A gated property making it very secure. The house is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Very modern and spotlessly clean. Thank you Amanda for the welcome pack,we sat and drank the prosecco on our first evening in the evening sun in the little courtyard.

This cottage is perfect. Immaculately clean, equipped to a very high standard (think DKNY bathmat, Ralph Lauren towels, Joules bedding, and lots more), delicious welcome hamper (prosecco, Green and Black's chocolate, Kettle chips), and very helpful owners. Perfectly located for local amenities and sightseeing further afield.

The cottage was great. The only problem was the noise. We had to have the windows wide open as it was so hot. The children in the playgroup, the seagulls and the caretaker in the hall all made a lot of noise. The children from about 8.15, the seagulls once from 4 o'clock and the caretaker several times from 6.30

We had a great holiday and the cottage was really perfect for us in terms of facilities and location. The only issue was that the double bed was very hard and so we found it hard to sleep, but others may love a hard bed. Totally recommend the house, the location was fabulous and there was loads to keep the kids happy. Thank you old school mews and thank you broadstairs!

I had a 4 night break the last week of March, myself my friend and her 13 month old baby boy. we had a lovely week away weather was surprisingly perfect. Roy & Amanda the owners was texting a few days before to arrange the meeting time, Roy was there to great us on arrival, he helped us with our overloaded amounts of luggage in to the cottage and showed us around, it really is home from home I didn't want to leave. The cottage was immaculate there was nothing you needed or wanted that they hadn't thought of, even down to cleaning products and everyday needs like milk and a welcome pack on arrival. I asked for recommendations for places to eat and all lived up to the recommendation. its a stones throw away from the beach and the local town, I expect the cottage gets a little warm upstairs in the warmer months as it was warm when we were there, I'm sure fans would be provided if required. I would highly recommend this cottage and would love to return in the future.
