Extremely comfortable cottage with well equipped kitchen. Owners have put a lot of thought into making it cosy. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage , but no pub and fish and chip shop has stated on web site, more than 1 mile to beach. also the neighbours were grumpy , had a good day out and was met by neighbours complaining how we had parked car even though we were getting car unloaded after day out. Would have been better if owner had let us know when he was calling(buy text ). Also a bit disappointed there was no Wi Fi and the TV was a bit on the small side.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We value customer’s opinion. We have removed all reference to our neighbouring pub. This is currently up for sale and awaiting new tenants. Blakeney would be the nearest for a wealth of pubs and shops at a distance of two miles. The distance of the nearest beach is at the authorisation of We have never advertised a fish and chip shop in the village nor the availability of Wi-Fi at the property. However, further to your comment we have emphasised there is no Wi-Fi. We are sorry for your confrontation with our neighbour. We obviously have no control over this. However, we do illustrate clearly a choice of three parking positions both within and outside the property and respectfully ask that guests adhere to these. As Owners, we place great importance in welcoming our guests and try to ensure the property is of standard for the duration of their stay, especially for one of two weeks. We are therefore saddened that you would have preferred notice by text of our “knock on the door” particularly at around 6.30pm which we thought to be of a considerate time, enabling us to meet both you and your expectations. We hope you still enjoyed your stay at Old Salts Barn.

We have had a really lovely time and we're made to feel so welcome with delicious home made goodies. It was well equipped and beautifully presented and a pleasure to come back to after our days out discovering North Norfolk. It was great to meet the owners briefly and personally thank them. Our only comment would be to ask for a softer pillow... or two

This is probably one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Brilliant welcome back, well equipped, enormous bed, comfortable and everything you could home for in a holiday cottage. Owners were very helpful. Parking right in front of cottage.

The bedroom, particularly the bed, and the bathroom, were the most pleasant rooms because they were light and airy. The lounge/dining room and kitchen were on the dark side, particularly on gloomy days. However, the cottage was extremely well cared for with some much appreciated, lovely personal and generous touches, including the best welcome pack we've ever had. The owners clearly take a great deal of pride in making guests feel welcome. The cottage was very comfortable and comprehensively equipped. The TV was on the small side, and there wasn't a dishwasher, but we weren't bothered by this. Langham itself is very well-situated for Morston, ( 1 mile),Blakeney ( 2 miles) and Binham.(2 miles), but a warning - we had to walk 100 metres down the road to get a phone signal, and the only place we could get the very weak BT Wi-Fi signal was in one corner of the bedroom - a nuisance if you're addicted to your smart phone. Our one reservation did concern the location. Entrance to the courtyard and the cottage passes across an area fronting a neighbouring house. Although we were told we could park in front of the gate, or in the courtyard, it soon became clear that the neighbours didn't like it, so parking in the road is probably safer and less hassle.
