This cottage is beautiful inside and outside. The hot tub is fantastic, but be aware there is an extra cost - but worth it! Absolutely fabulous remote location. This cottage is that relaxing we are going again this weekend.

Fantastic cottage in a stunning location. Very clean throughout and so spacious. Feels very remote but nice and close to A66 for when you want to get out and about during the day. Would love to stay here again. Definately recommended if you want to get away from it all (no phone reception...bliss!)

Had a lovely three day break, very rural, spotlessly clean..everything that you would need is available. However, no WiFi which meant not being able to work which was part of the reason for going.

Peaceful, not hard to get to yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, amenities within a short drive. Spacious home but cosy.

It was a shock to find out that the hot tub was not included in the price and how expensive it was to hire. This property is the cleanest we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a few of cottage for you propertys. How ever its is starting to look a little tired on the inside and could do with a little revamp. The location is fantastic , on it own but near a main road.

The cottage was a great base for our week exploring the North Pennines, we never found time to go across the Eden valley to the Lake District but the cottage did have stunning views in that direction. Although the cottage felt very remote, with a major road within a 10 min drive, it was quick and easy to get around. Just don't be surprised to find sheep on the approach to the cottage - which would be easier in a 4x4 in bad weather.

My fourth stay at this superb cottage. The perfect place to unwind, in tranquil surroundings. Easy access to the north pennines, lake district and Yorkshire dales. An abundance of wildlife and walks from the door. Very clean, tidy and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful owners.
