Beautiful surroundings. Great fun with tennis court and putting green. Well equipped cottage. Perfect base for North Devon sightseeing. Rosemore and Dartington Glass only up the road in Great Torrington. Ilfracombe, Bideford, Westward Ho!, Clovelly etc. Went to them all. Lovely pubs in nearby villages.

Beautiful cottage. Daisy the owner is an absolute star with incredible attention to detail. Out in the sticks, surrounded by animals and farmland, with little wifi (which suited us fine but wouldn't suit everyone). The cottage was immaculate, beautiful to look at, comfortable and very well equipped. We were welcomed by free-range eggs, milk, sugar, tea, coffee and biscuits, a lovely surprise. Very dog friendly-even came with dog towels and a food bowl under the sink! The gardens were beautiful, and the kids loved the sandpit, tennis course and golf! There are however no real local amenities but again for us that didn't matter-there was a shop a few miles away. I cannot praise the cottage and the Daisy highly enough. When there was a problem it was sorted out immediately. So far as the location goes, it was central for access to Barnstaple and all of the North Devon attractions-Clovelly, Lynton, Lynmouth, Illfracombe etc. Don't be deceived by the milage! Even though things seem close by mileage wise, they took a while to get to because of the roads.

Really lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Ideal for our 2 dogs, very dog friendly. A great place to explore the area from and near enough to the seaside, too. Can highly recommend a stay here!

A lovely cottage to stay at for our first holiday away with our dog. It was very homely and well equipped. The tennis court provided us with something to entertain the children when the weather was good. Our daughter would have loved to play in the Wendy house and sand put but sadly it was a bit rainy the week we stayed. You need to drive everywhere so we tended to go out early for the day and return late afternoon to spend the evening in the cottage. We would certainly return as it met all of our needs.
