An ideal base for exploring the rugged coastline with cliff top walks and smugglers coves. The traditional resort of Bridlington is just a 10-minute drive and holds irresistible appeal for all ages, with its miles of sandy beaches, historic harbour, Leisure World and Spa Theatre. Sewerby Hall (3 miles), has beautiful gardens, children’s zoo and play area, Burton Agnes Hall (8 miles) hosts events throughout the year. Comfy cottage, quiet location, close to Bridlington and Filey. Definately worth a stay.

Good barn conversion in quiet location. Perfect for visiting the local area especially Bempton Cliffs. Only basic supplies in nearby village and average pub. Property let down by providing only minimal cleaning and washing materials. No welcome note or basic fresh provisions supplied (including milk, wine) which has been a feature of similar properties in which we have stayed.

Lovely comfortable cottage and more spacious, the photos don't do it justice!!. Ideal layout with twin room and shower bathroom located downstairs for elderly Dad whilst we had the double with en-suite upstairs. Large comfortable L shaped sofa in lounge and was pleased to see a high firm high backed chair ( think Dad would of had trouble getting up from the soft sofa). The kitchen was very spacious and well stocked. A few disappointing factors...... No welcome pack not even a pint of milk!!! All other cottages I have stayed in leave milk, wine, biscuits and one a homemade Victoria sponge!!. Not a single flower in the cottage which is also a 1st!! The upstairs bedroom could do with a small makeover as it's so beige, white and brown!! So boring. A splash of colour on the bedding and a bottom sheet that actually fits!!. Colourful bath sheet towels and a painting on the wall would make it all look luxurious. A new toilet seat is needed and the shower drain unclogged with hair. Also a drain smell coming from washbasin!! Just a few improvements would make what is a lovely space STUNNING!!!

A nice conversion in a group of three, would be great for a large group, possibly a little close to neighbours if all cottages occupied by different groups and only a shared gravelled area for sitting out in. The cottage fitted our needs perfectly, taking elderly parents, but might not be so suitable for those with young children as the bedrooms are far apart. For such a beautiful kitchen we found the provision of pans/utensils slightly random, but adequate. A good place to be for discovering Flamborough head and surroundings.
