The farm land stretches over open countryside, crossing the delightful coastal path before descending to the beautiful secluded sandy bay of Gutcher’s Isle. Visitors to this delightful corner of Scotland are amazed at its beauty, temperate climate and relatively few people and once visited you will want to return time and time again. It’s addictive! There really is something for everyone whether you prefer the solitary pastime of sea or loch fishing or sampling the local championship golf course at Southerness. There are many activities for the adrenalin seeker from mountain balling to one of the 7Stanes world class mountain biking centres just down the road. The pretty little village of Rockcliffe is a mile down the road with its arc of houses looking across to the islands of Rough and Hestan. From here the Jubilee Path leads to the equally pretty sailing village of Kippford. Old Glenstocken may be booked seperately or for larger gathering of friends and family may be booked together with Rushcroft to accommodate 12 guests.
