Situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by the rolling hills and lush farmland of the Blackdown Hills in mid Devon, the hamlet of Old Bridwell sits on the edge of Uffculme, adjacent to Lord Mountbatten’s 100-acre deer park and wedding venue, Bridwell Park Estate. Beautifully restored from the original working farm buildings and barns, these charming character cottages, (28939, 28940, 28941, UKC1531, UKC1532 and UKC2513), lie in a spacious gravelled courtyard centred on a thatched circular pump house, with a beautiful listed walled garden with original box hedged pathways, cordons of apple trees and espaliers of pear and plum trees. All properties with the exception of Spring Cottage (28939), accept up to 3 well-behaved pets, so your four legged friends can come along too!
Just 2 miles from Junction 27 on the M5, yet in the very heart of Devon, these properties are conveniently situated for access to all major roads and a host of visitor attractions. Tiverton Parkway railway station is less than 10 minutes away, with direct trains to London Paddington, Birmingham, Manchester and Penzance. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Lynton, Lynmouth, Lyme Regis, Seaton and Sidmouth are all close by, and Tiverton, a bustling market town straddling the River Exe, is just 8 miles away. Knighthayes Court, Bicton Botanical Park, the Tarka Line, several golf courses, Quad World and plenty of opportunities for swimming, golf, horse riding, cycling and fishing are all easily accessible. The cathedral city of Exeter is 22 miles, and the numerous amenities of Taunton are 17 miles. Diggerland and various National Trust properties are within easy reach.
With the River Exe, Devonshire Heartland, Somerset and the North Devon coastline on your doorstep, the properties are situated in an excellent countryside location, offering a good base to explore this beautiful area. They are also within easy driving distance of Exmoor National Park and the Devon and Somerset border. Crealy Adventure Park is great day out for the children, with rides and animals, and there is something for all ages. The Jurassic Coast is just 17 miles away; the coastal path offers walkers stunning views, with a bird’s eye view of many coastal features. From the coastal path you can experience the drama of sheer cliff faces, taking in Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Seaton, Beer and Lyme Regis. The Jurassic Coast is ideal for exploring on foot, bicycle or on horseback. Branscombe is a haven for walkers, with a cluster of thatched and stone cottages nestling alongside a narrow lane at the bottom of a wooded valley. Visit Paignton Zoo, which covers 75 acres, and the Dart Valley Steam Railway. Beach 29 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
Spring Cottage (28939), Rosemary Cottage (28940), Bramley Cottage (28941), Pump House (UKC1531), Orchard Cottage (UKC1532) and Old Farmhouse (UKC2513) can be booked together to accommodate up to 40 guests.

Kitchen: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: With zip and link twin beds (can be super kingsize bed on request).
Separate toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 2 (Lady Mountbatten suite): With super kingsize bed and en-suite with shower over bath, and toilet.
Bedroom 3: With double bed and en-suite with shower over bath, and toilet.
Bedroom 4: With kingsize bed.

Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned courtyard with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 3 cars.

Gas central heating, gas and electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. External laundry area with washing machines and tumble dryers (shared with other properties on-site). Walled garden and 3-acre grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Bike store. No smoking.
