Looked like a very high spec property online, but much of the equipment was either broken or needed maintenance: eg the cartridge for the water filter and ice machine presumably needed replaced as they didn't work, the integrated coffee machine didn't work properly, many light bulbs needed replaced, one of the lights kept blowing all the fuses, there were no tea towels provided in the kitchen, the kitchen bin and floor were filthy when we arrived. Directions out of date (no pub within 100 yards, and nothing with the name provided in the directions). Outside 'patio' area disappointing, and was surprised to find the property in a run-down council area.

Loved the house, loved the location, bedrooms very comfortable, bathrooms fabulous, the biggest issue for me was that with such a modern well designed interior with no expense spared there was no internet connection nor any 3G or 4G

A very comfy property with great views. Not sure if wifi is available in the area but would be expected in most properties of this standard.

we enjoyed our stay at the old church hall so much, that we didn't want to leave! The stylish accommodation was very comfortable and warm and the views out to sea, from the gable end window were mesmerising.

Old Church Hall is a lovely property, very spacious and clean, bathroom and en suite showers are great, view from living room is fantastic, local shops 5 mins by car, nice town very clean and friendly folk. Just on the outskirts of town is a huge Tesco Extra store so like shopping at home, overall great, however,NO INTERNET which for anyone under seventy with a pulse is a must have, only other gripe is instructions for kitchen equipment would be a help, otherwise with internet enabled we would have no hesitation whatsoever in booking this property again.

We had a great time in Buckie. It's a great place to explore the NE coastline. Lost of great beaches to walk with dogs! Nearby Cullen is a nice village with great Cullen skink! The Old Chruch Hall is a great property! Very comfortable and decorated to a high standard, like a good hotel. Loads of room and has most things you'd need. The only gripe I have is that it didn't have any internet wifi. The 3G/4G signal does not exist in that area and I just feel that most lettings should provide this as standard nowadays (even if you'd rather not use it and be cut off, that's fine, but having it as an option is important) even at an extra cost. That said, it didn't spoil our week and we'd think about staying there again. We've already recommended friends to stay there.
