Beautifully presented cottage in the countryside, we stayed on new years eve to get away with our 2 dogs as they are terrified of fireworks. What a lovely, peaceful new years! The cottage has everything you could need, Mark and Sue are extremely helpful but not intrusive at all. Beds and sofa very comfy, with super soft blankets provided to snuggle up with. Underfloor heating was a godsend for the cold weather! The garden and hot tub are great (although it did rain non-stop the whole time we there which was unfortunate!) Local amenities are limited but that is what we were looking for - somewhere away from towns/fireworks. Would definitely return, maybe for next new years eve! :)

We loved our time at Dairy Cottage. It had everything you would want, it was clean, tidy and someone has obviously gone to a lot of effort to make it so. The hot tub was great, especially under clear night skies with beer in hand and morning conversations with the neighbouring horses was novel. All local amenities were close by but not too close which made it an excellent location for a short break away from it all.

Had a fantastic stay at this great well equipped cottage. The hot tub was an added bonus which was fab looking over the open fields. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will be returning.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay and spend my 50th Birthday. Well equipped and spotlessly clean.

A lovely, well equipped cottage with excellent hosts. Beautiful surroundings and near to many fascinating attractions - although you do need a car. Would recommend as a venue for a small family.

A simply wonderful cottage in a peaceful, 'get away from it all' location. The fabulous owner/hosts (Mark & Sue) really have gone the extra mile to make the cottage truly feel like a 'home from home' for their guests. Fitted out with good quality furniture & fittings, the cottage was comfortable and welcoming and very thoughtfully equipped with every possible item you could ever need to enjoy a self-catering break. The hot tub was the jewel in the crown. Magnificent!! My only (very minor)suggestions for improvement would be a quick squirt of WD40 to 'de-squeak' the hinges on the internal doors ....and perhaps fit a towel hook or rail next to the bathroom hand-basin to avoid getting drips on the floor when reaching across the room for the towel after washing hands. Very highly recommended! We would most definitely return for another fantastic break at Dairy Cottage and fully intend to do so!!
