Great place to stay and perfect for our needs (namely, staying indoors in comfort). Not recommended for families however due to the noise from the nearby pub. However, we would stay again. The flat has superb character and very spacious rooms. Kitchen is modern and well equipped. The owners are extremely helpful and this is not to be underestimated. Thank you for a great weekend Sam and Lesley!

We spent Easter weekend at the Old Assembly Rooms, the accommodation was spacious, well presented, with all the comforts of home, bedrooms light airy and beds very comfortable. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to Durham city and other local attractions. Only thing needed, was maybe a directory of places to pubs /restaurants locally with Menus. We had breakfast at the Café below which was lovely and reasonably priced.
