A delightful semi-detached holiday cottage in an idyllic location with magnificent sea views to the Isle of Man and the Galloway Hills. Situated ¾ mile up a private good road, on the edge of the owner’s 50 acres of private woodland, with paths leading to a secluded sandy, pebbly beach and rocks for sea fishing - 10 minute walk. Two mile bluebell walk in May. Galloway House gardens, 2 miles. Shops/P.O., bowling green, two tennis courts, harbour and nearest pub 1¼ mile.

Ground Floor:
Living room: With open fire (with back boiler), TV and DVD player.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bathroom: With bath and toilet.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 3: With twin beds.

Electricity, bed linen and towels included. First £5 (summer) and first £10 (winter) electric storage heaters and electric panel heaters included. Initial fuel for open fire included. Cot and highchair. Garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars.

    A lovely cottage. Beautiful surroundings. Private road to cottage. Beach very short distance from garden through wood. Owner very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly recommend it.

    The beach was best part and kids and dogs loved it! Cottage very dated and needs some updating, more comfy furniture etc. The beds were comfy though and we were cozy and warm. Nice helpful owners.I

    We had a fantastic 2 weeks stay at this cottage, a short stroll through the woods past the fairy tree we found a beautiful secluded cove, there was only a little sand but still it was magical. We soon discovered that it felt a lot warmer in the cove as it was sheltered from the elements. The cottage had everything that was required except a tumble drier (this would be useful on rainy days) Unfortunately there is no longer a shop in the village however the garage does meet essential needs and there is a co-op just a 15 minute drive away, I would recommend the Harbor Inn for food (especially the Haddock and chips) with the added bonus for us they welcome dogs. All in all this is a lovely cottage in a lovely location, perfect for families and people with dogs. Dean,Lisa,Ryan,Kelsey,Lottie and Pandy

    This was our 3rd visit to Olafs Cottage and we loved it as usual. We will be definitely be going back again next year
