Situated at the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the cottage is only 2 miles from the small village of Gartmore. The cottage has a lovely lounge with wood burning stove, making it feel warm and welcoming. There is a separate sun lounge enjoying the view across the garden. The neat kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate dining room. The double bedroom is on the ground floor and the twin bedroom and large bathroom are on the first floor. The rear garden is private, with outdoor furniture and fenced off along the river bank. There is shared use of the front gravel courtyard and a large raised deck area providing beautiful views over surrounding countryside to the Campsie Fells and Ben Lomond. The farm has a herd of Highland cattle. The river, ’Kelty Water’, flows directly behind the cottage, which eventually leads into the River Forth.
