Our family had a fantastic Christmas at the cottage and have come back to New Zealand with some great memories of our special time enjoying a northern hemisphere Christmas.

An excellent stay in a clean and comfortable converted barn. Lovely rural settings, with plenty of dog walks through fields, streams etc. Well tended (and dog safe) garden enabling sunshine and wine whilst watching hovering kestrels. Fresh eggs available from the adjacent farm. Well placed for Cheadle, Alton Towers, The Potteries and the legendary Les Oaks. Play areas and bar walk-able at the nearby camp site. Many traditional pubs in the area. Helen was a warm and accommodating host, we'd love to return.
