The cottage was a great size for our group, plenty of beds and rooms for everyone to fit in. The dining room was an excellent size as was the lounge area. Overall a lovely house. Only down side was that some of the beds were a little uncomfortable, but as we were there just for a weekend, that wasn't much of an issue.

9 adults and 5 children aged 4 - 6 fitted the accommodation very well, especially the living space and garden. The downstairs twin room was far too crowded. One of the single beds partially blocked the en suite toilet door so it could not open fully. This en suite was extremely small!! The upstairs bedrooms were fine and well furnished but one of the showers was unusable because it was either scalding or cold.

There were 17 of us celebrating my mum's 80th birthday and the house easily accommodated us. The house is lovely and extremely well equipped, we cooked a full Christmas dinner for 17 and there was plenty of utensils, pots and pans, plates, glasses etc. The one thing the house could benefit from is a downstairs shower for the elderly or disabled. I would recommend Oakfield to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

We visited this property in Oct 2015, 12 adults and 4 infants. Fantastic property for a large group of people. Spacious accommodation; dining room and lounge that can seat everyone. Large flat screen TVs, dvd player, play station etc. Kitchen small, but has everything you will need, including multiple ovens, fridges and freezers. The bedrooms are large and a couple of them include sofa / day beds for extra guests or children. The ensuite wc's were great to give everyone their own facilities. Most of the rooms have been decorated, with only a couple of the bedrooms still to be done. The furniture is a mix of old and new. Some areas of the house so need updating, but this by no means detracts from the property. The property was clean and tidy. The garden is fabulous. Location is great; the canal tow path is at the bottom of three garden and it's a short walk into Stroud. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this property. Perfect for a large group. We hope to return!

We had a nice stay at Oakfield. We were a party of 16 and there was plenty of room for us all. The children enjoyed playing in the garden at the rear of the property and the lounge and dining area were perfectly adequate to accommodate us all. The bedrooms were satisfactory too, and the pool table was a major attraction of much fun and games during our weekend stay. Overall, the property is fine but it could do with a little tlc in a lot of places; the decor is looking tired and a bit of work is required to bring it up to an expected contemporary standard.

It was just what we wanted for a large family party with all ages represented. The house and garden worked really well. Liz and Steve gave us a good intro to everything and were on hand to fix the odd glitch which was v helpful

Oakfield is a spacious property for our recent extended family holiday. The Owners were very helpful and the rooms were made up as we requested. The house is in a great location for the southern Cotswolds and we all had a very enjoyable week.

Such a beautiful property in an amazing location. I had 15 girls stay here for a hen weekend and there was plenty of space and everything we needed for the weekend. Very spacious and the perfect setting for a fabulous weekend. Everyone had a lovely time and I would definitely return to this property again in the future. Thanks xx
