Relax in the sun drenched garden at this beautiful cottage which lies close to the capital of Douglas.

Oak Hill Cottage is a traditional, Manx stone building, which has been sympathetically restored. Sit back and relax in the sun drenched garden, whilst enjoying your favourite tipple after a hard day of having fun. The cottage is only 2 miles from Douglas, which is the island’s capital, yet set in beautiful Manx countryside at Port Soderick, alongside the Isle of Man Steam Railway, which is the longest narrow gauge steam line in Britain. This holiday home is the ideal location from which to explore the Isle of Man. There is an abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs in Douglas alongside the traditional seaside resort and busy working harbour. All of the Manx holiday attractions are within a 30-minute drive from the cottage. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

The cottage was fantastic, everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the house was perfect in every way, the owners were very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Don't hesitate in stopping here it won't disappoint you. We took both kids and they loved the place it was a great base to view the Island. Thank you

Very comfortable little cottage. So close to Douglas and main roads to the rest of the Island.

The cottage is really sweet and in a very quiet location but also only 5 minutes to the facilities in the main town of Douglas. Great for peaceful and beautiful seacoast walks and easy access to rest of the island by road and steam train with Port Soderick station closeby.

We have had a lovely 3 week holiday at Oakhill. The owner couldn't do enough to help us without being intrusive. You need a car as there is no bus service and it's just a bit too far to walk home after an evening at the pub. The steps to the back garden make it difficult to serve a cooked meal outside but fine for a picnic. Fantastic having upstairs & downstairs toilets. The property suited our requirements well and we would certainly stay again.
