Well equipped dog friendly location - we needed a dog friendly place to stay within easy distance of Prescot & Warrington to visit friends and relatives and this fitted the bill. The Park across the road and good walks from the door suited the dog and the kitchen was well enough equipped for us to cook a meal for visiting friends. Read other reviews complaining about traffic and aircraft noise but after the first day didn't really notice it. Garden could with a bit of a tidy and TLC also wasn't 100% secure for a curious Labrador with Houdini like tendencies but other than that no issues.

Delightful well appointed cottage. Clean, delivered all that it stated in the literature. Lovely secluded garden. Helpful literature provided for outings etc. Only downside being some late night traffic noise.

Great location for a holiday. You can drive easily to Liverpool or Wales to see the sights. The owner greeted us warmly & showed us round. Dog friendly property. Great park over the road to walk the dogs. Comfortable and clean. Second bedroom is tight for space but very comfortable and there's room under the beds to store suitcases. The main bedroom has sufficient storage. Kitchen bright and well equipped and you can have breakfast overlooking the tidy, pretty garden. Garden enclosed so great for dogs.

We booked this cottage as a base to visit the Aintree Grand National and other attractions in and around Liverpool. We were delighted with the cottage and its facilities. It was clean, warm and comfortable inside and also had a lovely garden to enjoy al fresco drinking/dining. The kitchen/diner was extremely well equipped, which enabled us to cater for ourselves on most days. All in all, a really lovely cottage, that suited our needs and great for visiting - Aintree Racecourse, the Albert Dock museums, The Beatles Story, Port Sunlight, Mersey Ferry, Tatton Park and Speke Hall.

This is a lovely cottage, great for dogs, as there are great walks from the Cottage. The only down side is the noise from the busy road and low flying aircraft.
