We had a fantastic time at the cottage. It was quite difficult to find as it is very rural, but it is a lovely spot once you get there. The property was clean and there was plenty of room for the 4 adults that went. The hot tub was great too. I would definitely come back to the cottage with the my friends again or with my family (husband and 2 young boys) as it's ideal for both. I saw in the guest book that a lot of people come with dogs, but we didn't have a dog and it wasn't noticeable that there had been dogs previously.

Couldn't fault it, had a fabulous birthday weekend, Prosecco in the hot tub, lovely cottage, private as fenced all round on the farm. Travelled to nearby Oswestry on the Saturday and had lunch at Prezzo. Lovely weekend, would like to return. Highly recommend you book it!

Lovely cottage, very well equipped - in a really quiet location. We'd definitely come here again. Very comfy cottage, hot tub was great to relax in, why people have had a moan about towels I do not know; heating is freely available to dry towels on and so was not an issue at all.

Very enjoyable. Lovely cottage in a good location. Everything we needed was there and it was great to have a completely enclosed area for the dog to wonder freely.

Had a great time at Nuthatch. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the cottage itself was very clean and had pretty much everything we needed. Contrary to what a lot of reviews said we found the cottage very warm throughout our weekend stay. Would definitely return.

Overall a nice stay. Never really had a dry towel during our stay as the heating was not on long enough to dry them as I was having to use towels for both showering and the hot tub. Perhaps they could provide a towel for the use of the hot tub. Even better a towelling robe. It's quite cold getting from house to hot tub in October with just a hand towel. Puts you off using it.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: We do provide 8 towels in this cottage. I’m afraid we are not obliged to provide towelling robes. Unfortunately we have no control over the weather/outside temperature, and as your booking was for the end of October it is likely the weather could be cold. The hot tubs have been used in the snow by other guests.

Nuthatch cottage is a beautiful cottage in a gorgeous setting. There is plenty to find to do in the surrounding area. The hot tub is a fabulous addition to the property. The location is great for dogs and the access to the two fields for walking is brilliant. The owners are lovely people, very amicable and on hand for any customers needs.
