We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and on the whole it had everything we needed. The location is fantastic if you want to visit Bath, Bristol, Wells and there are some lovely local villages nearby. The outdoor space is fantastic and so peaceful. The only slight (and they really are very slight) complaints I would have is that the cottage could use a thorough dust. It's obviously well cleaned before each visit however down by bedside tables for example, there was a build up of dust/spiders webs - there was even a squashed spider from someone's previous visit in one room. Also, we were given one toilet roll for each bathroom. Which is fine however we were not informed that we may need to bring our own and we ended up needing some on Bank Holiday so trying to find somewhere open, in the middle of nowhere was quite a task! And finally, we asked for a high chair and the choice of 2 available were not great. Both were very old, dirty/stained and could really do with having replacements so the standard of baby equipment is the same as the standard of the cottage. we took our own travel cot so I can't comment on what that was like. On a side note, none of us had any phone signal at the property so trying to order a takeaway one night was eventful! JustEat saved us!
