As well as visiting the house, there’s plenty for the kids with nature trails and a zoo. The famous Bridlington Spa Theatre has some fantastic shows on throughout the year. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk. The famous “Way of the Roses” bike ride from Morecambe finishes in Bridlington. From Lancashire to Yorkshire, coast to coast, all 170 miles of it! For those who enjoy a good walk, the Cleveland Way and the Wolds Way are just along the coast at Filey. Also along the coast you have Flamborough Head and the famous RSPB Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve, where you can observe gannets and puffins in their natural habitat. Scarborough is only a short drive, where you will find the largest open air theatre in Europe as well as the castle and lots of other places of interest. For those of you who like a bit of sport, visit the famous cricket festival. The medieval city of York is less than an hour away, where there’s plenty to do for all the family. Visit the minster, walk the city walls or have a leisurely cruise along the river. Bridlngton is a perfect base to see what Yorkshire has to offer, from the coast to the North Yorkshire Moors and The Wolds there’s so much to see for all the family. Beach 400 yards. We had a great stay in this lovely house, it was well equipped and spacious with two lounge areas. A lovely patio area meant when the sun shone we could comfortably eat outside. The owner was absolutely charming and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Ideal location for exploring Bridlington, we walked to Old Bridlington, took the small land train to Sewerby Hall and model village, both worth a visit. Would highly recommend it.

Parking definately an issue, even though permits provided, it was difficult to get a space close to house. Street and house reminded us of student accommodation. Should maybe only be 2 star.
