Nestled into the hillside overlooking the Teign Valley and the ancient stannary town of Chagford, Northill Lodge is a luxury holiday home.

Tranquilly located, Northill Lodge stands detached amidst the owners’ extensive 30 acres of grounds. It features a balcony leading off the first floor living room, which looks out over the landscape where fabulous views can be admired, and where many species of birds and other wildlife can be spotted. The owners have put a lot of thought into the property, and each of the three bedrooms have luxury pocket sprung beds made up with Egyptian cotton sheets, which contribute to a good night’s sleep. A contemporary wood burner can be found in the large living room, and the kitchen comes well-equipped with everything an enthusiastic cook may require. Good reception is available for most mobile phone networks, and Wi-Fi is also provided should you wish to keep in touch with the outside world whilst at this relaxing location. Off road parking is available for at least three cars.
It is only a short walk to the open moor and Kestor Rock, but the bustling town of Chagford, with various shopping options, pubs and restaurants, is also close by. Chagford, in the heart of Devon, lies in the legendary Dartmoor National Park and is close to the beautiful River Teign. Northill Lodge sits on the hill above a renowned Michelin starred restaurant, where afternoon tea is a great treat and a speciality. Bovey castle, with its golf course, is also close by.
Exeter is only a 30-minute drive away, and there are many National Trust properties to explore including Castle Drogo. Dartmoor National Park has many amazing things to see and do, and don’t miss venturing further up on to the moor, exploring all the tors. With a wealth of natural and inherent beauty, opportunities for short or long walks, as well as things to do for people of all ages, this is a great base from which to explore Dartmoor. Be sure to visit the many tea shops, which are perfect stopping off points for a Devon cream tea. Beach 24 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a borehole, there is an unfenced leat 20 yards away, and an unfenced lake at the bottom of the grounds, 165 yards away.
