This former farmhouse, dating back to 1731, is situated in Robin Hood’s Bay with easy access to The Cleveland Way.

This imposing stone-built detached former farmhouse, dating back to 1731, sits in an enviable location in Robin Hood’s Bay just a short stroll from the old village. With private parking, a pretty garden for al fresco dining and all bedrooms enjoying en-suite facilities and flat screen TVs, this property is ideal for a large family holiday or for celebrating that special occasion in an idyllic setting. Robin Hood’s Bay is one of the prettiest fishing villages in Yorkshire; cafes, inns and tea rooms line the streets with art galleries, museums antique and curio shops tucked away in the alleyways. An evening at The Swell Theatre, a former chapel, is a must with fine dining on offer in the restaurant below. Cliff top walks afford breathtaking views across the coast, access to The Cleveland Way is just a few minutes’ walk from your doorstep, while Wainwright’s ‘Coast to Coast‘ finishes at the shore. Visit the ancient seaport of Whitby, home to the stunning abbey ruins, a colourful harbour and marina with a 3-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beach. From Whitby you can board the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Train (Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Express) and take a relaxing journey through the stunning Esk Valley to the Heartbeat villages of Grosmont and Goathland. We found the house to be a very warm and comfortable place to spend our holiday. Every room has its own en-suite so it is perfect for a group of friends. Its location at the top of the hill is great too. There are plenty of good places to eat too and Robin Hood's Bay is so beautiful. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place to stay! We have stayed in many RHB cottages, North Ings is by far the best. Beautiful home, well equipped, high standard of cleanliness, plenty of parking spaces and a lovely garden - a suntrap even in October! We'll be back!

North Ings is a wonderful large spacious cottage suitable for large families or parties, all bedrooms are large and ensuite, every room was spotlessly clean. The property is very well equipped with everything you could want to make for a comfortable stay. The property is in a wonderful location for walking or travelling to all surrounding areas, with all local amenities { pubs, restaurants and shop } only a short walk from the front door. This property is excellent value for money and the whole family would not hesitate to return to this wonderful venue in a beautiful location.

Lovely big house in a village we know well. Very well equipped and centrally located with excellent parking (important in Robin Hood's Bay). The only very minor gripe that we had was the lack of a house folder with all the useful hints, recommendations and information in. For example it took us 3 days to establish that there was no glass recycling available closer than Whitby.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location! A great spot for our get together (8 friends and 3 kids). Great having every room ensuite - no waiting for the shower in the morning! We now want to return in the summer to make the most of the lovely outdoor space :)

Very good house in great, convenient location just above old 'Bay Town'. With all bedroooms having ensuites it was perfect for our group of 6 couples, with a well equipped kitchen and adjacent dining room. Plenty of good walking options from the house, with terrific views of the coast and sea. Only small problem was with some lights fusing but it was dealt with very promptly.

This is a fantastic property and couldn't be in a better location. We couldn't fault it and are hoping to return soon!
