A lovely cottage located in the small village of Strachur with beautiful sea views

Nolands is a lovely cedar clad cottage located in the small village of Strachur, which lies on the east shore of Loch Fyne. The cottage is situated at the end of a quiet lane, set back from the shoreline with a beautiful view of the sea. Nolands has been lovingly renovated and tastefully decorated throughout. The cottage is all on one level with ramped access to the front door. From the master bedroom you can wake up and see the sea. Nice house, very clean and tidy. Owner left some nice personal touches for arrival - sweets, milk, flowers and bottle of wine much appreciated.

Really enjoyed this cottage. Everything you needed was there and more. Great location for the great outdoors and there were many visitor attractions not to far away. All in all excellent.

We couldn't fault the cottage. The cottage was warm, cosy and clean. The added touches such as the milk left for us in the fridge really made us feel welcome. It was our children's first trip to Scotland which was made all the better by staying at Nolands. We would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely time in at Strachur and even managed to enjoy a few day of good weather too! The cottage is beautifully decorated and the owner could not have done more to make it welcoming: leaving lovely gifts of wine and butter tablet. The place itself is fairly compact overall but the space is used well to provide two good-sized bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and two, joined, living areas. Our only minor complaint about the place was the size of the tv - it was probably about 16" (which is unusual these days for a main tv) and for watching a film on the rainy days we had, something a bit bigger would have been appreciated. The log-burner was great! The outdoor areas of the cottage would be lovely in better weather, the decked area with BBQ and chimnea and the rest of the garden were fab.
