A lovely cottage in the most beautiful setting. Noad cottage overlooks the walled garden. It is a really stunning location. The village of Ride with a large selection of pubs doing home cooked food are just a walk away. The cottage is comfortably furnished and the beds are very comfortable. It is a very quiet and relaxing location and the cottage is large and well appointed. There is no Wifi in the cottage which is stated on the booking form.

We love Noad and have visited the cottage on 5 occasions. We love the area and always enjoy our stay. Unfortunately this time we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness which we discussed with the manager. Other than that we love our spring break and will return next year.

Very nice house! A warm welcome with welcome gift and a luxurious feeling with the big shower, bath and very comfortable bed! The only downside is that we looked for the house for 1,5 hour, when we rang at the gate we didn't understand the owner (our english is not that good).,so a sign at the gate would definitely help out so as a visitor you know you are in the right place! People in the village are very helpful, one drove in front of us on his motorcycle to the Noad coach house, very kind.

Large and comfortable for the two of us, and plenty of room for four. Nicely decorated and equipped. More attention to detail cleaning needed - cobwebs, some mould in bathroom on tiles, kitchen pans need attention. Lovely location and summer here would be marvellous but still good in autumn. Quiet. Owner and agent both friendly and quick to sort any problems.

Overall we had a great time in the cottage the main missing element was no Wifi /availability of internet. The grounds are stunning and the cottage was very comfortable with lots of space. We have previously stayed at Rose Cottage which we thought was very nice so knew it was worth revisiting the same site, within the grounds of the Georgian house.

Had a wonderful time at the cottage. Facilities were more than adequate apart from an antiquated ironing board. Had a welcome gift parcel which was lovely and much appreciated. Location fantastic (walled flower garden opposite our cottage ). We had a wonderful time? Would definitely recommend it.

A lovely holiday cottage, so well equipped and comfortable. We loved the garden, ideal for relaxing in the evenings. The location is wonderful for visiting many National Trust properties.

The cottage was lovely though quite a way from any of the sites we would want to go to. The grounds were really good - lovely walled garden we could use. There were uite a lot of dead bees on windowledges which could have been cleared before we arrived. The biggest problem we had which spoilt things was that a swarm of bees descended on an air vent just outside my bedroom half way through the holiday.....literally thousands of bees.I woke up to find some 40 or so in my bedroom. We reported the problem and they did get someone in who tried to move them elsewhere unsuccessfully. We cleared the bees from the room but by the time we got home, there were another 40 or so and thousands swarming just outside, even though all doors and windows were shut and we could not see where they were coming in.. They offered us a cottage attached to our own to stay for the night but this was far less equipped. My travelling companion had to sleep in the 'children's room' with 2 foot 6 inch beds and for a nearly 70 year old lady, this was hard - she got no sleep. I had the double bed but we could not open any windows because of the bees - and it was a very hot night, so I did not sleep well. The next day the pest control came and killed the bees but there were still some 40 or 50 flying around. We were told they would die within hours. They were still there 3 days later so for the rest of the holiday, all windows had to be kept shut. Although I know that this was not the owner's fault and just nature, I did feel that the owner was very unsympathetic...just kept saying 'what do you expect in the country.' I know it was not his fault but it was still our holiday and changing cottages made sleeping difficult as well as not being able to open windows.....it certainly spoilt the holiday for both of us. We both have very demanding jobs but went back as tired as we came. Although we know that probably would not happen again, the memory of the holiday is spoilt - and the lack of real sympathy did not help.
