Nearer home you can wine and dine in the owner’s adjacent public house and restaurant, the 13th-century Ship Inn, or enjoy the fine selection of unusual shops in this pretty traditional village. There is also fishing, golf, horse riding and cycling all available, or further afield the resorts of Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and Woolacombe are well worth a visit. Spacious. Could be luxurious but badly planned & maintained. Views mostly hidden by hedge & not as in pictures. French doors open onto the pub carpark. Poorly equipped for self-catering. OK if you want to eat in the pub. Cobwebs, dust, splashes on the paintwork. Not the quality we expect from previous experience.

Great little place. The only issue was that the fridge goes through phases of being silent, then making a lot of noise. We had to turn the fridge off each night so we could sleep soundly without interruption. Everything else was perfect! Our issue with the bed on the first night was instantly fixed by the owners the following morning, they were wonderful.

Response on behalf of the owner; What a pity you did not let us know your feelings directly whilst you were there. It has been 3 months it seems since your visit and we maintain our properties consistently to improve what we offer or sort any problems which might occur through guests use of our facilities.
