Relax on the wide covered terrace and enjoy the magnificent, ever changing harbour and coastal views across to St Michaels Mount.

The apartment is conveniently located within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, cafés, art galleries and shops. The area has great public transport links including a main rail line and a link to the scenic coastal train from St Erth into St Ives. There is a daily ferry service from Penzance to the beautiful Isles of Scilly or take an open top bus ride to take advantage of the breathtaking coastal routes. From Marazion the fairytale castle of St Michaels Mount, rising from the sea, can be visited on foot via causeway at low tide or by small boat at high tide. Visit the historic town of Marazion, with its winding streets filled with curiosity shops, tea rooms and art galleries, or enjoy a walk along the wide, white sandy beach of Mounts Bay. The area attracts watersports enthusiasts, with activities such as kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, scuba diving and kayaking available. Bird watchers from all over the world visit the area, with wildlife marshes at Marazion and nearby Hayle Estuary. Other attractions close by include Sennen Cove, the romantic Minack Theatre, which is cut into the rock face and has the ocean as a back drop, Lands End or walk along the South West Coastal Path. A fantastic apartment with lovely views across the harbour. It was fully equipped and everything was spotlessly clean. The owners were welcoming and helpful.

This is an extremely comfortable and well appointed apartment - the only drawback is the limited access and car parking. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and we would certainly hope to return.

A well equipped and spacious apartment in what could be described as 'old' Penzance. Three elements let the overall rating down. Car parking meant a 75 yard walk, OK if you are young and fit when you need to pack your car. The road outside the apartment was a narrow street with no parking available. The second point is the included wi-if. The transmitter was in the owners apartment (next door) and provided a suitable, not God, signal in one room. OK for email, but not so good for streaming video. Finally the siting of the microwave on top of the fridge/freezer was seen as a safety hazard and was not included in the Health and Safety assessment for the property.

What a beautiful place to stay in gorgeous surroundings. The owners were very hospitable and catered to our every need. There was everything we needed in the flat which is beautifully furnished. The only negative was the narrow entrance/exit to the car park which I was warned about, but still damaged the car on the unforgiving wall. To be expected in an older property with history like this one.

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. We were met by our hosts who had lots of helpful suggestions of where to go and what to do. The apartment is superbly equipped and lovely and clean. The big shower was in much demand. The location is excellent for all the harbour based activities as well as the lovely walk to Newlyn and back.

An outstanding property with fantastic views over Penzance Harbour. Extremely well equipped and spacious. The owners have thought of everything relating to comfort. Walls have interesting nautical and local paintings.
