This cottage was in a central position for discovering the whole of the Island, the no 3 and 22 bus took you into the town centre every 15 mins, or for the more fit and able it was 20 min walk but uphill all the way back. The cottage was well equipped although we discovered on our last day there was no tin opener in the drawer so take your own. It is next door to a filling station but we heard no noise from there and was convenient for papers in the morning. The main problem was it is on a busy crossroads with traffic lights and you had cars reving up until late into the night especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Having said that after a couple of night we got used to it. Lovely cottage though.

A very comfortable and well equipped home from home. The location is good for travelling but on on noisy crossroads next to the petrol station that was very busy day and night. But loved the house, could have done with a blanket or two for those who are used to a warmer bed - just a tip as I was fine but friend was cold and we didn't need to put the heating on, she just was a little chilly at night. Good location if you have a car as we did (so cannot comment on other methods) as it was easy to get in and out of Douglas to explore.
