Nearer home you can wine and dine in the owner’s adjacent public house and restaurant, the 13th-century Ship Inn, or enjoy the fine selection of unusual shops in this pretty traditional village. There is also fishing, golf, horse riding and cycling all available, or further afield the resorts of Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and Woolacombe are well worth a visit. Lovely location, clean and just what we wanted. I only gave 8/10 for equipment as the cooking facilities were small but the info on the property tells you that so you can't go expecting an aga when it tells you what there is. Also there was no wifi but it was free in the pub next door. We went at the end of November and the mews was warm, comfortable and clean. Price was good and the location superb. Next to a comfortable pub with roaring fire that did good food and good ale. We wanted a walking holiday with cold crisp weather, a clean warm place to stay and near to good pub with food and ale and we got exactly what we wanted. Well done Ships Mews and thank you. We've kept your details for the future.

The holiday was fine, but we were disappointed with the accommodation. The cooking facilities were bare minimum, there were no cleaning materials,so we couldn,t leave the place clean and tidy.
