Hi, the only complaint I would have is that this is the second time we have been and we had issues with the boiler for hot water during both visits...although this wont affect us re-booking as it is a beautiful cottage and very well situated. Julie

The location is great, both for the village and the surrounding area.could walk to the lake easily. However the cottage would benefit from some redecoration, this would greatly improve the environment, especially if you were indoors for any length of time due to weather for instance.

Great location, fully equipped. Needs some TLC, unable to open some windows in bedrooms, or lounge. Porch looking very dated from outside and in, not a very good first impression on arriving. However our stay was wonderful and we would return.

Good holiday, weather walking and local amenities were good. Shame about the cottage, comfortable and clean. Had the look of faded glory, walk paper hanging off walls, furniture tired, water leaking through bathroom ceiling, been going on for a while as well. So review is Coniston and Lakes good, cottage below average
