Absolutely amazing little lodge, right on the bank of the loch. Loved it. Minor cautions for visitors: stock up well before you arrive, the local shop sells a decent range of items but they struggle for fresh fruit and veg unless it can be grown in the village! Secondly, the drive from the main road to the cottage is about 15 miles or 40 minutes. Don't let that put you off...we had a great week of walking, and hiring a boat for a trip around the loch is a must.

Location, location, location! It's literally in the middle of nowhere which was perfect for us. Right on loch awe, perfect for kayaking, view is beautiful, good local walks. The accommodation is big enough for 4 people, kitchen appliances and some utensils need to be replaced (especially tin opener!!!) but other than that everything was fine. I would go back tomorrow if I could! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
