We were very disappointed at the location of the barn, there was no suggestion in the details of it being stuck in a corner of the barn like it was. However, on entering the barn it was very impressive, very nicely done and equipped. But there was a dreadful stench of drains throughout our stay, especially in the main bedroom, which seemed to pervade the whole barn. The owners had air freshener everywhere so we figure they knew and were trying to mask it. The barn also needed blinds, mirrors, waste bins; the little touches to make it more comfortable. I don't know how children/ babies would sleep with no window dressings. And finally, there was a gate at the road which they said would be locked at 9pm; it was often locked before. Such a shame we had these problems as it looked so good on the details.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. The details are very clear and show that the property is located on a farm. There are no window coverings because the design of the building does not necessitate them as there is no light pollution. The gates are locked as explained on arrival but you are free to come and go as you please and you are provided with a key.

Book here for 5 nights acomodation was high quality but lacked any cleanliness and needs a good clean in between guest's.also there was a problem with the stinking drains which was smelly through out the barn and all you could smell was sewerage. So I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Great place with lots of space and a well stocked Kitchen. Only downside is the absence of curtains (bedroom and shower!) and lack of wifi, which makes contact quite tricky as signal is poor. Other than that, would definitely recommend.

Great barn, very spacious, clean with quality furnishings. Kitchen very well equipped. Bathrooms clean and modern, although would be good if mirrors could be fitted. Lovely setting, would be nice if could visit horses.
