These well-appointed properties are situated in a quiet hamlet, midway between Bridgnorth and Ludlow, two of Shropshire’s most well-known and loved historic towns. They are well positioned to take advantage of the views across the open countryside. The Annexe (ref 29626), is semi-detached and stands 20 yards from The Barn (ref W44249), which is a detached barn conversion and has a private hot tub. The interior of The Barn has been thoughtfully designed with beautiful stone floors and a cosy woodburner. Set in a convenient location, they are within walking distance of the locally run pub, and a short drive away from the visitor attractions of Ludlow with its castle and racecourse, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock. Also worth visiting are the River Severn, famous for its tidal bore, the River Teme and the Severn Valley Railway. Other local attractions include Rays Farm, the inland funicular railway and Daniels Mill. This is an ideal touring base for people wishing to explore Shropshire and Herefordshire, as well as the mid Wales borderlands. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

    My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful holiday with our two dogs. They loved the large enclosed garden, and so did we when watching around fifteen different species of bird. We received a warm welcome, and appreciated the food and wine very much. The cottage was well equipped, clean, and pretty much ideal as a romantic week away from the hustle and bustle, with a good choice of walks nearby. The chickens provided really tasty free-range eggs, and along with the owl who called out each evening, will be missed. We hope to return to New House Farm Annexe again.

    We enjoyed our stay at New House Farm Annexe and were very lucky with the weather. The Annexe is very cosy and warm and the location is ideal for touring the local area, including Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Ludlow. The welcome pack was much appreciated with lovely free range eggs. Paul and Julie were around if needed and we loved watching all the birds feeding on the lawn. We hope to return.

    We had a very wet four days with our border collie. However, this cosy, comfortable cottage ensured our stay was enjoyable. The local pub was also a big attraction, good food and ale, and they were happy for the dog to join us.

    Lovely cottage,very clean and warmed up quickly.Well equipped and comfortable,modern kitchen and loved the dining room/conservatory.Bird feeders in the garden made for wonderful viewing and also saw squirrels.Weather foul whilst we were there but looks to have excellent dog walking nearby. Maybe some lighting around the gate/path to door would be good for autumn/winter breaks. Loved it and hope to return at some point. Owners helpful and returned my glasses !

    Wonderful cottage,in a lovely,woodland, tucked away, location,ideal if you have dogs.Dog walking on site.Very friendly hosts supplying every thing,and alot of lovely extras,you could want.Would definately go again.

    Great little place to stay for a short break. Extremely clean, and little extras wine, eggs, bacon and dog treats were a lovely surprise. Owner very helpful in explaining local walks. The dining room at the back overlooking the garden is really nice for enjoying a cooked breakfast. The lounge is very small, and just a suggestion perhaps a small rug on the floor would make it a little more homely in the evening and a couple of low lit lamps rather than the one which is very bright. That's just a personal preference. Local pub which is community owned is superb. It's a short walk away, the food is great, and their Sunday lunch a must. Very friendly staff and dogs are made very welcome.

    A wonderfully comfortable holiday home, close to a variety of interesting places. The enclosed garden was excellent for our dog, who, like us, was also made very welcome.

    This is a very special place to stay due in great part to the thoughtfulness and generosity of the owners Paul and Julie. They focus on the tiny additional details which make one's stay extra special. In addition The Annexe looks out on the most beautiful garden which guests can enjoy all year round. This is a clean, comfortable and very well placed base from which to explore the local area.
