Fabulous location, great views, clean, comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. However the beach isn't as easy to get to as you'd first think and has restrictions for dogs depending on the time of year you visit. Charlotte and Tim are very welcoming as are their lovely dogs, Libby, Teddy and Maisy. They are on hand if needed and more than happy to give you a steer for places to visit. A lovely couple. Downside - no remote for the DVD player, uncomfortable sofas. Other places we've stayed at, have had a few nice touches on arrival (cake, wine, tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits etc) you won't find that here but at the same time it doesn't spoil holiday, it would be just a nice touch.

Faded splendour, but extremely lovely and quiet location which is very close to the coastal path - wonderful.

Loved staying at New Barton Farm; we used the cottage and barns as the venue for my daughters wedding. It was a perfect setting and Charlotte and Tim were charming and helpful. The cottage is homely and comfortable and a great base for exploring the South Devon Coast. We hope to go back for just a holiday next time. Loved it.

Lovely cottage, warm, homely. Do need new sofas as they were very uncomfortable. Wifi only available now and then and in the kitchen, no phone signal, so if this is important to you..this is not the place for you. Other than the few negatives we loved this place and would deffo return

Lovely rural location with fabulous scenic walks along the coast path and river valley and just a 15 walk to Wembury beach. Comfortable accommodation, although the small shared children's bedroom will make it tricky for us to stay as our children get older, but it's fine for family with two young children who like to share a room. Breathtaking views from the sitting room. Peaceful. The owners Charlotte and Tim were helpful and friendly.

great hosts very welcoming and helpful , however found the cottage was cold and expensive to run via the electric meter some of the fixures and fittings very worn and dated ,needs upgrading but will need to keep the cottage feeling , this is no slight whatsoever on the people who are running this establishment ,it maybe that they have limited resources to provide for todays consumers

The road out to the farm does have a few potholes to catch the unwary when returning in darkness. Having said that, we used to live in the same area and we were well aware that it was a working farm, and remote. We love the fact there is no trafic
