The general condition of the Lodge was very outdated the bathroom was very small we couldn't get in it we thought it was made for a midget, in the kitchen the oven was out of the Ark.The fridge was very old. In general most of the whole Lodge needs bringing up to date. The owner was very friendly .

Not on holiday in late November, but visiting family nearby. The Four-poster Bed was a novelty to us, and excellent. We were made very welcome, and found nothing to fault.

The cottage is in a quiet, private residential location. There is a small, well tended garden at the front of the cottage. Our host was wonderfully welcoming and a mine of information about the local area and further afield. Our stay was comfortable in a the extremely spacious living and sleeping areas. The property is well furnished in keeping with its period setting. The only drawback for us was the very small bathroom. It was difficult to understand considering the space available on the upper floor.

Interesting cottage in the grounds of the Manor House with superb gardens and quiet location. Would have given top marks except for the bathroom which (for a 6+ footer) was a little cramped. That apart the cottage is great for touring the area and as others have noted Tim is a superb host always ready to give help or advice. We love the area and there are so many places to visit within easy distance of Soham. This was our third visit to the area and no doubt we shall return to carry on our exploration.
