Pros: Our family had a lovely stay here, was a wonderful house with a beautiful open garden backing onto Cubert Common (but with no access unless you have long legs for climbing over a fence!). The owners were absolutely fantastic and helped with anything we asked. The owners garage/office adjacent to the property sell their own produce of vegetables. Excellent prices and lovely quality, which I used for the fab Weber charcoal BBQ we utilised twice. A beautifully homemade Victoria Sandwich was left for us with milk and bread. Excellent recycling here. There is a pleasant easy stroll down to Porth (Polly) Joke beach, which was quiet during our stay and spotlessly clean. Surf/body boarding would be great for a beginner. Cons: The house is at the beginning of the owners campsite at the rear of the land and holiday-goers park at the entrance of Nanis' driveway to book in to the owners and an occasional car will park there of an evening, but they do not disturb. There are cars going to and from directly outside the property all day, if in the garden you do not notice this at all. "Tranquility" was the promise in the description and makes out that you are in the middle of nowhere with no-one else about bar the owners house adjacent to Nanis. Not so. You have to drive through another campsite prior to getting to the lovely bungalow. Suggestion: Get some gates/fencing to the front to secure off Nanis fully so dogs that like to run off who are staying at the property can't, instead of having them tied up whilst in the garden just in case a passing dog or horse appears on the drive or on the adjacent bridal way and having to walk them instead of letting them out for a night time pee. Would I stay again....yes. Definitely. Especially to see the Dragon wood carving finished!!
