Location is perfect if you want to get away from it all. Beautiful grounds, walks from the doorstep & friendly hosts. A car is a necessity as local village is 5 mins drive. Cottage itself was perfectly comfortable & warm & we would love to go back.

Really lovely area, great for peace and quiet. There was abit of a mix-up with the keys to let us in.Nice and tidy but bathroom needs a bit of a spruce up and there was no hot water in the morning, next door too. Shame really!

Beds like hammocks as was the sofa that smelt of dog . Damp on the walls, plaster had dropped off and just been painted over. Bathroom with mold and mould around the windows in other rooms. Proudly displaying a plaque showing 25 yrs with English cottages but don't know when they last inspected! Property in a lovely spot of very remote but in need of serious update and more importantly a deep clean.
